If you are reading this is means you are interested in the topic I chose for my project, which is major turning point battles in World War II. I chose this topic because I knew there was a lot I needed to learn about World War II and I find it interesting to know what happened in each different battle. Throughout my different genres I want to capture the emotions people had during the battles, and I want to show what happened in each battle. The genres I chose to incorporate into my project are a comic, a letter, an advice column, a two-person poem, and a narrative. I chose these genres because I felt that they would be the best to express what I portray the battles to be about. Major turning point battles in World War II are an important topic because everyone should know not only who won the war, but who won each specific battle. All of the different battles I discuss are very important in the outcome of World War II. When reading each of my different genres you should read them as if you are the characters in them. Try to feel the emotions the people/soldiers would be feeling while writing it or being in it. It should also be taken seriously because they are real life events that shouldn’t be taken lightly. This is a very important subject and I hope you enjoy the way I decided to portray it.
